Hearing Aids

We're here to guide you through the process of finding the perfect hearing aid that aligns with your unique needs.

Finding a hearing aid that is the perfect fit, for you.

At Fairfield Hearing, we understand that choosing your hearing aid is a significant decision that impacts your daily life.

With a myriad options available, finding the perfect fit can be overwhelming. That's why we're here to guide you through the process, offering professional assistance to ensure you make an informed decision that aligns with your unique needs.

Where many audiology clinics prescribe solely from the device range of their preferred manufacturer, we see it as fundamentally important to be manufacturer-agnostic. This enables us to match you to the very best device for your circumstances, no matter which manufacturer it comes from.

We prescribe and fit all leading digital hearing aid technologies, including Oticon, Bernafon, Starkey, GN Resound, Phonak, Unitron and Widex/Sivantos.

We use real ear measurement (REM) as a part of our fitting procedure. This is widely considered to be highly effective in ensuring ‘proper’ fitting.

The importance of independent professional guidance

Choosing the right hearing aid involves more than just understanding the types available. It requires a personalised approach that considers your lifestyle, preferences, and the nature of your hearing loss. Here's why seeking professional help is crucial:

  1. Unbiased recommendations

Our commitment to independence means we don't compromise standards for profit, and we don't fit hearing aids that aren't best suited to your unique needs. Our recommendations are based on you the most suitable hearing aid for you, not us.

  1. Customised solutions

Our expert audiologists take the time to understand your unique needs, ensuring the hearing aid recommended is tailored to your specific requirements.

  1. Comprehensive assessments

We conduct thorough assessments to determine the extent of your hearing loss, guiding us in recommending the most suitable device for your condition.

  1. Trial and adjustment

We believe in a hands-on approach. Our clients can trial different hearing aids to experience their benefits, and we make necessary adjustments to guarantee optimal performance.

  1. Ongoing support

Our commitment doesn't end with the purchase. We provide ongoing support, ensuring your hearing aid continues to meet your needs through regular check-ups and adjustments.

Choosing a hearing aid is a personal journey, and at Fairfield Hearing, we're dedicated to making that journey seamless. From understanding the different types of hearing aids to providing professional guidance, we're with you every step of the way.
